چکیده
• Sentinel-2 composites for large scale mapping of soil organic carbon in croplands. Identification pure pixels and quantification uncertainty. Normalized Burn Ratio < 0.05 removes crop residues moisture. Soil property improves when more than 6 scenes per pixel are used composite. Uncertainty reaches 5.5 g C kg –1. (SOC) prediction from remote sensing is often hindered by disturbing factors at the surface, such as photosynthetic active non–photosynthetic vegetation, variation moisture or surface roughness. With increasing amount freely available satellite data, recent studies have focused on stabilizing reflectance building using time series images. Although composite imagery has demonstrated its potential SOC prediction, it still not well established if resulting spectra mirror fingerprint optimal conditions to predict topsoil properties (i.e. a smooth, dry bare soil). We collected 303 photos surfaces Belgian loam belt where five main classes were distinguished: smooth seeded soils, crusts, partial cover growing crop, moist soils residue cover. Reflectance then extracted Sentinel–2 images coinciding with date photos. After was removed an NDVI 0.25, (NBR2) calculated characterize threshold NBR2 found be able separate unfavorable i.e. wet covered residues. Soil organic carbon dynamics jointly controlled by climate, carbon inputs, soil properties and soil carbon fractions.
Soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics are regulated by the complex interplay of climatic, edaphic and biotic conditions. However, the interrelation of SOC and these drivers and their potential connection networks are rarely assessed quantitatively. Using observations of SOC dynamics with detailed soil properties from 90 field trials at 28 sites under different agroecosystems across the Australian ...

Soil erosion is one of the vital factors contributing to the loss of fertility and environmental degradation. Generally accepted diagnostics of eroded soils is based on comparison of the sloping soils profile depth with the watershed soils. In this case, there is a separate problem of slope soils with a naturally shortened profile and eroded soils. Formation of the soil’s natura...
متن کاملAssessing Relation of Soil Hydrophobicity and Soil Water Content and Determining Threshold Moisture of Organic Soil Samples
Soil water content is the most effective factor associated with the hydrophobic and hydrophilic changes in a soil. Water repellency in soils, is not a permanent feature; it can be reached in the dry season and reduced or eliminated in the wet season It can be said that in terms of moisture, there is a critical region that is defined as the threshold moisture content, where in lower moisture, th...
متن کاملThe Effect of Land use and Soil Erosion on Soil Organic Carbon and Nitrogen Stock
Soil organic carbon (SOC) is a principal component in soil quality assessment. Knowledge of SOC and total nitrogen (TN) stocks are important keys to understand the role of SOC in the global carbon cycle and, as a result, in the mitigation of global greenhouse effects. SOC and TN stocks are functions of the SOC concentration and the bulk density of the soil that are prone to changes, influe...

The application of organic amendments can be an appropriate solution to reclaim and improve physical propertiesof saline-sodic soils. In this research, an experiment was performed under greenhouse conditions to study the effect ofamendments to the physical properties of loamy saline-sodic soil. The five treatments were control (withoutamendment), municipal solid waste compost (MC), vermicompost...
